Paul and assistants will share in the task of teaching and guiding. Our expanded yoga shala space allows us to handle all students in different classes, as necessary. The retreat will offer a mix of Asana and Pranayama practice, along with practical workshops on philosophy and integrating yoga into daily life. Our intention is for you to feel uplifted and clear in what to practice by the time you end the retreat.
There will be a special ceremony on New Year's Eve to acknowledge 2009 and welcome in 2010. The event will help you close and heal the past year, setting the energy and intention for the year coming with an impetus to follow through on it. The rest of your time will be a nice break from all the crazy holiday happenings and commercial onslaught. Come and really enjoy the break.
Committed to living a healthy and positive life, Paul is a dedicated student of yoga and meditative practices. His primary teacher is O.P. Tiwari, with whom he has deepened his inner practices. He is one of only three senior students of Tiwari who has taken him deep with the Pranayama and Meditative practices.
Paul has studied extensively with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Sharath in the Ashtanga yoga system, and is one of only a few in the world to be certified by Sri Jois. Paul's committed asana practice has informed him of many of the internal keys to practice, which he loves to share when teaching.
Paul is the happy father of two lovely boys. Together with his wife, he founded Yoga Thailand. For more, please see his full bio.
