Residential Stay

You can stay at Yoga Thailand and customize your time, depending on the dates you are available and what you are interested in doing. You may arrive early for a program or stay on later, and also choose whether or not to be a residential guest. All our facilities and services are fully available to you while staying with us. Perfect for holidaying with the family or catching up on work while keeping up your yoga in a healthy and supportive environment.

We offer two types of residential programs: Yoga and Wellness.

Yoga Residential

This is our basic all-inclusive residential option. It includes your chosen accommodation, all meals, and both morning and afternoon yoga sessions.

Wellness Residential

This includes your chosen accommodation, the yoga sessions and food appropriate for the wellness program of your choice, as well as all specifics of your cleanse/detox program. We have three wellness programs to choose from, depending on what level of detox intensity you opt for. Centered Wellness details these programs in depth.

Yoga Residential in Detail

The classes are conducted in our beachfront yoga shala. Hopefully the breathtaking vista of clear blue skies, beach and tourquoise water don't distract you!!
We follow a holistic approach to yoga, aiming to ground students properly and help them grow from there. Morning asana class options are the classic Ashtanga system, primarily taught Mysore style, or a gentle-flow style. Restorative classes take place in the afternoons, with both asana and breath work. After dinner we offer either meditation or another arranged program.

To learn more about Ashtanga, Mysore style, and Yoga, please visit these pages on our site describing them in more detail.

The Ashtanga system-Mysore style, in particular-is a very thorough approach to the practice of yoga. The sequence begins with basic postures, later opening up and revealing its depth as students continue to practice. The Mysore approach works with students individually, so that they progress according to their level. A beginner starts with only a few poses, gradually adding more and more as his practice develops and his proficiency and commitment evolve. This ensures that the student is always challenged and growing while, at the same time, practicing at the level appropriate for him. For more about this, please read the above-mentioned articles on this site.

Paul and our other teachers are dedicated to the practice and life of yoga. Certified by the master Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Paul regularly has spent much time in India dedicated to personal growth and practice. Neil has been authorized in this tradition and his variety of skills and background shines through. Our intention is to offer a thorough, clean, and, of course, enjoyable approach to learning and practicing yoga. To learn more about the teachers, please read their bios.

For newcomers to the Ashtanga series, a minimum of one week's stay is recommended. Those with experience in practice can do shorter stays. The minimum stay is three days. All are encouraged to do longer stays, as the teaching can then fully sink in and practice can begin to reveal itself.

Our gentle-flow yoga classes are light yet detailed and enjoyable. The classes are guided by the teacher, and students of any level can participate. They are perfect for those who want to take it easy in asana but still be (mildly) challenged, and for those doing a detox program. As in all our classes, the teachers bring their experience and learning, making gentle-flow yoga classes highly beneficial for anyone looking to grow and explore.
