Yoga: The Joy of Practice
September 15 - 22, 2012
with Elonne Stockton
About the Retreat
In this retreat, we will develop our self-practice of yoga asana and breathwork - pranayama. At the same time, we will explore where the practice of yoga comes from, what the different elements of the practice are and why we practice yoga to begin with.
All levels are welcome. This is an opportunity to be in yoga, to live it, to immerse ourselves in the practice of yoga. It is a chance to be in a healthy and uplifting setting with like-minded people, learning about the practice while building something solid that we can take with us to enrich our lives. Get in it, and develop a love and appreciation for the practice. The joy is ours to celebrate; it is already in us.
Throughout the week, we will have morning breathwork - pranayama, intention setting, chanting and asana practice (led asana and self practice classes), afternoon discussions and restorative asana classes, and of course lots of bhakti/devotion! Some mornings there will be additional silent walks or walking meditations, and some evenings we will have optional kirtan, satsang and other activities.
Please join us!

Testimonials
I had a wonderful 5 weeks at Samahita Yoga Thailand and feel very blessed
having very coincidently found my way to you five years ago.
I had no idea back then how dramatically this 2 weeks at YT would
change my life to the better.
I am glad to know you and that you are developing YT into such a
brilliant place.
I am looking forward to spending lots of times with you.

Had a glorious time on your retreat in Thailand and will never forget the experience. I have actually
increased my practise now, since I've been back in London, to five times a week!
Thanks,
Diana, UK 2006
I was surprised on the detox that I did not get very hungry-the way the juices, supplements, cleansing salads and broths were spaced out, I felt full(ish) throughout the whole week.

Lovely professional group of people, great session.

I joined the retreat to learn about yoga & nutrition. I learned that and so much more. I came away relaxed, rejuvenated and equipped with the tools and techniques to live a healthier, more balanced life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
