Yoga: The Joy of Practice
September 15 - 22, 2012
with Elonne Stockton
About the Retreat
In this retreat, we will develop our self-practice of yoga asana and breathwork - pranayama. At the same time, we will explore where the practice of yoga comes from, what the different elements of the practice are and why we practice yoga to begin with.
All levels are welcome. This is an opportunity to be in yoga, to live it, to immerse ourselves in the practice of yoga. It is a chance to be in a healthy and uplifting setting with like-minded people, learning about the practice while building something solid that we can take with us to enrich our lives. Get in it, and develop a love and appreciation for the practice. The joy is ours to celebrate; it is already in us.
Throughout the week, we will have morning breathwork - pranayama, intention setting, chanting and asana practice (led asana and self practice classes), afternoon discussions and restorative asana classes, and of course lots of bhakti/devotion! Some mornings there will be additional silent walks or walking meditations, and some evenings we will have optional kirtan, satsang and other activities.

Testimonials
As a person in 3-week cancer remission I found the 3 day detox program extremely healing. The atmosphere and environment of Yoga Thailand, along with the quality of care and staff are all beneficial in my healing. Thank you Yoga Thailand.
Jodie, Australia 2010
This Detox and Yoga program really helps in uplifting my being, physically and mentally. This is the 2nd time I've come here for the detox program. Awesome!
Vicky, China 2012
I really just wanted to thank you for guiding me toward removing those thought patterns. I didn't even
fully realize until I returned home how much you & the Koh Samui retreat helped me break out of that.
You told me I could do it and I thought your were OUT OF YOUR MIND!!! I expected to broaden my practice and see
part of Thailand, but I came home pleasantly surprised that I opened a whole new world to myself.
Hillary, USA 2006
