Yoga Retreat

Yoga and Nutrition

February 12 - 19, 2011

with Sara Granström-Thorsson

About the Retreat

Taking on the hatha yoga tradition you are automatically starting a cleansing process for body and mind. A process that is meant to help create and also maintain health and growth on all levels.

To support this process food has always been important to consider and improve in a natural and individual way.

The relationship between yoga and food is very much inspired by Ayurveda - the science of life, a philosophy that believes in non processed products and individual choices of food for people since we are born with different constitutions, strengths and weaknesses.

Experience the benefits of a complete system for balance on all levels. Through classical morning practice and informative afternoon lectures the aim is to inspire and deepen the understanding of ourselves and how we can stay balanced in our society with healthy choices of exercise, breathing and of course food!

You will work and learn specific yoga practices and learn much about food, nutrition and its effect on the body, giving you an easy working food plan to go home with.

This course is open to all levels of students.
