Residential Day-Stay

Day-Stay - Only during non-retreat times, there will be regular daily classes both in the morning and afternoon. The morning class follows the ashtanga mysore approach and the afternoon focuses more on restorative and breathwork. There is also an evening meditation program. Depending on your own timeline you can stay and practice for as many days or weeks as works for you. The afternoon restorative class is a good compliment to the ashtanga practice. This residential option has a daily rate covering mysore class, accommodation and delicious meals.

The classes are conducted in our shala that opens to the beach and beautiful waters of Thailand. We follow a holistic approach to yoga, aiming to ground the student properly and help them grow from there. Morning classes are in the classic ashtanga system, primarily taught "mysore" style. In the afternoon is a restorative class that also covers breathwork. Later in the evening is meditation.

The ashtanga system, and the "mysore" style in particular, are a very thorough approach to the practice of yoga. It begins pretty basic and starts to open up and reveal its depth as the practice is continued over time. The mysore approach works with students individually so they progress appropriate to their level. It ensures that the student is always challenged and growing and at that the same time being where they need to be. For more about this please read the above mentioned articles on this site.

Paul and the other teachers are extremely dedicated to the practice and life of yoga. Paul is authorised by the master Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and they all spend time in India continuing to grow in practice. This ensures a thorough, clean and, of course, enjoyable approach to learning and practicing yoga. To learn more about the teachers, please read their bios.

For beginners
to the ashtanga series a minimum of one week practice is recommended. Those with experience in practice can do shorter stays. The minimum stay is 3 days. All are encouraged to do longer stays as the teaching can then fully sink in and practice can begin to reveal itself.
