Kids Club and Babysitting

Family life is an integral part of the yogic path. Many great yoga masters, present and past, have had families. As parents ourselves, we know firsthand the challenges that face practitioners who have children, and we are well aware of their special needs.

It is our sincere aim to encourage those with children to keep up a healthy life and a committed yoga practice. At Yoga Thailand we go the extra mile to support practitioners who are parents, too. We have several guestrooms kitted out and large enough for families. Many of our former students have started their own families and we welcome many more entering the family stage.

In our experience we have found many places offering yoga or health programs typically discourage bringing children. Having two children of our own, we know how important it is to have them along, and have made it a major point for Yoga Thailand to provide services specifically for families with children.

Our kid's club is fenced off for safety but open enough for play. We offer babysitting for the young ones and care with supervision for the bigger ones. (Thai people are very fond of children, in general, and look after them with loving attention.) These services must be requested in advance, but the kid's club area is open for as long as there is an adult supervising.

We have a covered sala stocked full of toys. In addition, we're equipped with all the playground bits kids love-swings, slides, seesaws, sandpit, and a splash pool. Of course, the beach provides plenty of that, too, and our swimming pool has a kiddie zone.

The kid's club is at one end of the property, far enough away from the guestrooms, practice areas, and treatment zone to not disturb. You can practice in comfort and peace knowing your kids are looked after and occupied. All with love! And if your partner doesn't practice or wish to take a treatment, then he or she can play too.
